No there is no direct ferry from Ireland . Portsmouth or Plymouth go to Bilbao & Santander . I have done the Plymouth Santander journey a few times and it does take a lot of time and is expensive with a car(in fact not that cheap as foot passenger) . Check flights out as it will be a lot cheaper and less time consuming.

There is no direct ferry crossing from Ireland to Spain, but there are some alternatives.

Take the Dublin ferry to Holyhead and drive to either Plymouth or Portsmouth and a ferry across to Bilbao in Northern Spain.

OR Drive to Rosslare and take the Ferry to Fishguard in Wales and then drive to either Plymouth or Portsmouth and onwards to Spain.

OR Take a ferry from Rosslare to Le Harvre in France, and drive down through France, over the mountains into Spain.

Either way, the journey will take about 4 days each way.

It is from England, you can go from Portsmouth to Bilboa, It takes about 3 days I think. It might be unlikely from Ireland you might have to take a ferry over to Rosalre to Wales and go to portsmouth by train.

Or you can go from Roslare to France and take a train.
