First I've heard about it & no I'm not at all excited about the prospect because I live in Cork but if I lived in Keady I'm sure I'd be pleased that it will create employment in the local area.

There will probably be 2 or 3 planes coming & going each day about the same as Kerry International Airport near Faranfore. People living near airports do get used to the noise etc, ask people living in the Heathrow flight paths how they get on with 1 plane taking off or landing every minute of every day.
I should be doing something else

Nah I'd much rather more resources were put into the two Belfast airports we already have to improve them, particularly the city airport, instead of spending money on putting an airport in a backwater dump like Armagh.

If I lived in Keady, I'd probably find it quite interesting. As I don't, I'll wait until I have a need to go there and get excited then. It could be a great thing for the area, and bring some much-needed employment.

That Ryanair would use it is not surprise. They use airports that are cheap, even if they are 80 miles from nowhere. I'm surprised they don't use Donegal airport and deceive the visitors by calling it Dublin Carrickfin.

You'd better research "Chem-trails" before you agree to something too rashly.
